Captain Nicholas Dahl was commissioned into the Chemical Corps from Officer Candidate School in 2011 after attaining his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He has served as a CBRN Reconnaissance Platoon Leader, Company Executive Officer, Biological Detection Company Commander, Battalion Plans Officer, and Battalion S3. In 2019, he transferred to the Civil Affairs Branch and finished his time in Active Guard Reserve until 2021. CPT Dahl now resides in North Branch, MN, with his wife, Hannah, and their three sons.
