MSG Andre Hale

Commandant of Cadets
MSG Hale is originally from El Centro, CA where he joined the Army in 2003 as a 19D Cavalry Scout.  He graduated One Station Unit Training at Fort Knox, KY and served in H Troop, 1st Cavalry Regiment (BRT), 2-70 Armor Battalion, 1-5 Field Artillery Regiment, 5-4 Cavalry Regiment, 2-16 Cavalry Regiment, and 5-1 Cavalry Regiment.  His assignments include Fort Riley, KS, Fort Benning, GA, and Fort Wainwright, AK.  He deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2), Operation New Dawn, and Operation Inherent Resolve.  His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (2), Army Commendation Medal (6), Army Achievement Medal (6), Meritorious Unit Citation (2), Army Good Conduct Medal (5), Iraq Campaign Medal (3 Campaign Stars), Operation Inherent Resolve Campaign Medal (1 Campaign Star) Global War on Terror Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terror Service Medal, Overseas Ribbon (4), NCO Professional Development Ribbon (4), the Army Service Ribbon, the Order of Saint George-Black Medallion, the Order of Saint George-Bronze Medallion, Excellence in Armor, the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge-Silver, German Armed Forces Marksmanship Badge-Gold, and USARAK Arctic Tab.  MSG Hale has served in every leadership position a Cavalrymen can hold from Team Leader to First Sergeant, as well as an Instructor for Armor Basic Officer Leader Course.

MSG Hale’s military education includes Unit Armor School, Warrior Leader Course (CL), Small Arms Weapon Expert Course, Armor Supervisor Course, Advanced Leader Course (CL), Short Range Marksmanship Course, Scout Leader Course, Maneuver Senior Leader Course, Cavalry Leader Course, Battle Staff NCO, Master Resilience Trainer, Equal Opportunity Leader Course, Cold Region Survival Course, Commander and First Sergeant Course, and Master Leader Course (DHG).

MSG Hale joins the Golden Gopher Battalion from Fort Wainwright, AK where he served with 5th Squadron, 1st Cavalry Regiment, 1-25 SBCT as a Platoon Sergeant, First Sergeant for Crazyhorse Troop, and the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop First Sergeant.  He is married to his wife Brenda for over 15 years and has two children, Bella (8) and Jacob (4).
