Master Sergeant Mann hails from Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin. MSG Mann enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2007 as a 19D Cavalry Scout at Fort Knox, Kentucky. He has served in 2-69 Armor Regiment, 3rd Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, 3-61 Cavalry, 4th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, 4-7 Cavalry, 1st Airborne Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, in D Troop, 1st 509th Infantry (Airborne) Opposing Force, 1-61st Infantry, 165th Brigade, 1-1 Cavalry, 2/1 Armor Division. 

MSG Mann's roles have ranged from Scout, Gunner, Section Sergeant, Senior Drill Sergeant, Platoon Sergeant, Squadron Master Gunner, Brigade Master Gunner, and Troop First Sergeant. 

MSG Mann has deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom V, VII, and New Dawn; Operation Enduring Freedom XII; Operation European; Assure, Deter, and Reinforce; and Joint Task Force Southern Border.

MSG Mann lives in New Richmond, Wisconsin, with his Wife and four children.
