Sergeant First Class Ivan Krestyn joined the U.S. Army in 2009 from Spokane, WA. He completed Infantry OSUT and Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA. He has served with 2nd BN 5th IN at Ft. Bliss, TX; 1st BN 503rd IN at Caserma Ederle, IT; 1st BN 509th IN at Ft. Polk, LA; and served as a Senior Drill Sergeant in 2nd BN 29th IN at Ft. Benning, GA. SFC Krestyn has deployed to Afghanistan three times to support the Global War on Terrorism. He currently resides in Woodbury, MN, with his wife and two children.
