Master Sergeant Ivan Krestyn enlisted in the U.S. Army in 2009 from Spokane, WA. He completed Infantry One Station Unit Training (OSUT) and Airborne School at Fort Benning, GA. He has served with the 2nd Battalion 5th Infantry at Ft. Bliss, TX; the 1st Battalion 503rd Infantry at Caserma Ederle, Italy; the 1st Battalion 509th Infantry at Ft. Polk, LA; and served as a Senior Drill Sergeant in the 2nd BN 29th IN at Ft. Benning, GA. 

MSG Krestyn has deployed three times to Afghanistan three times in support of the Global War on Terrorism. He currently resides in Elk River, MN, with his wife and two children.
